What We Do
Kosmos Solutions international has been offering travel courses, volunteer internship
programs for the last 10 years with different universities across the world Western Carolina University, George Washington University and Queens University Canada. The programs are tailored to offer different faculties on site experience as well as hands on experience on different issues facing the globe.
The volunteer internship program is open to all nationalities .We have placed a good number of
volunteers to their respective jobs such as Nurses, Teachers, Business developers in placements that we have partnered with and need volunteers to meet their needs like schools, hospitals, women groups and others. The volunteers live with a host family while undertaking their duties. The placement lasts from one week to one year. Some volunteers help women groups develop websites and market their items while some are teachers who teach in rural and schools at the slums.
We have also helped local school students in partnership with their universities specifically Nairobi
University, Strathmore University and Kenyatta university connect their students with local volunteer
opportunities which expose them to some realities of life that they haven’t encountered. The
opportunities are also tailored to give the local students experience on issues they have to deal with
outside the university. Most of these students have left a huge impact and have continued to engage with places they volunteered to better those areas while applying the knowledge and experiences from their studies.
University Travel Program
University Travel Course is aimed at giving your university’s students and faculty a unique and hands-on learning experience, while immersing them deep within the African culture.
Medical Volunteer Program
Village health facilities are very disadvantaged; they not only lack facilities but they also have limited medical personnel. We are looking for committed medical professionals who can volunteer in village health facilities .
Immersion Program
Cultural immersion program is where a volunteer stays with locals at the village and experiences their daily life routine depending on the family the volunteer will be staying with. This program is designed to help you unplug and reset you from your busy and programmed life.
